How to navigate in 3D<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>

Exploit the full potential of the 3D viewer to explore the seismic source<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

When you are in the detail view of a seismic event use the mouse to navigate the scene to move closer or farther away, move laterally, above\/below (you can even go below the surface!) and tilt the globe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t be discouraged if you find it a bit difficult at first: it only takes a little bit to become familiar with 3D navigation! If for some reason you get lost, don’t worry: click on “<\/span>reset 3D view<\/b>” to return to the starting point.<\/span><\/p>\n

Adjust the layer to “<\/span>set surface transparency<\/b>” to manage the transparency of the ground and see the fault through the Earth’s surface.<\/span><\/p>\n

Along with the rupture distribution of this event, you can continue to see other faults: if they get in the way of your view, turn them off with the “<\/span>hide show other events<\/b>“.<\/span><\/p>\n

To return to the global view with a list of all available events click on the “back to global view<\/b>” X in the upper right corner<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
